Read moreĪnother wonderful installment in the Shadowlands Series from Sinclair. They need to be read in order so you can understand the underlying plot line. I definitely recommend that anyone that loves reading the BDSM genre read this series. I think there is definitely something there and I hope Linda realizes that what a wonderful person Sam could be. The scene with Sam and Linda was moving and hot. Sinclair is going to write books for Vance and Galen as well as Sam. I also loved seeing the characters from the previous books and how well their relationships are progressing. It was nice to see Master Z at his best and forcing Raoul to face his fears and grab what both he and Kimberly wanted. That more than anything showed how far she had came with Master Raoul.

I was glad that Kimberly was the one to damage the Overseer and Lord Greville.

I cried when Raoul sent the dog to her so she would have an escort and someone to watch over her. She took her life back and became a better person in the process. She was determine to not let the slavers and the Overseer get the best of her. Kimberly was so brave and stubborn in many ways. He was also very insightful and observant.

I loved how he helped Kimberly overcome her captivity and abuse.

He is what a true alpha male should be and so seldom are. Master Raoul lived up to my expectations and more. I have no sympathy when bullies and psychopaths get what they desire and they certainly d in this book. It is difficult to read because you are being thrown from anger to sympathy to laughter to crying. I knew this book would be difficult to read, not because it is poorly written far from it. What an emotional roller coaster of a book.
